Apple has invited journalists down to its Cupertino, California headquarters to get a look at its new round of notebooks this morning. But what exactly Apple CEO Steve Jobs will unveil is anyone’s guess. Apple has always been one who’s mastered the “suspense until release” game. And the latest suspense on top of the new MacBook is the rumor that they will offer a notebook for $800. While this would be fantastic, it’s a little hard to believe. Maybe an $800 monitor? But a notebook at this price, from Apple?
