ServerBeach Contributes to Fedora Talk

Fedora Talk is a new telephony system based on the free voice VoIP project Asterisk. Using any standard VoIP hardware or software, Fedora contributors can sign into the system and use it to make or receive calls to other Fedora contributors anywhere in the world.

The Fedora Team says that Fedora contributors can set up ad hoc conferences to further deepen social connections which assists in creating a more efficient method for communication when working on certain projects. They are hoping that in the future they will be able to add web conference capabilites for anyone with VoIP access.

ServerBeach is always looking for ways to help contribute to the Open Source community and has contributed to this project by providing the hosting and bandwidth for Fedora Talk.

  1. Thank you. Appreciate the effort.

  2. Cool. Not nearly enough information out there, and I, for one, would desperately like to ditch TrixBox, but I don’t have the Linux knowledge to properly secure a box if I build my own Asterisk environment.
