Spanning Sync Catches Fire

Spanning Sync LogoCharlie Wood’s Spanning Sync is a cool service that syncs Apple iCal with Google calendar bi-directionally. Charlie quietly opened the Spanning Sync Beta to the public early January 30th, and soon after it caught on like wildfire as new users started coming in from “The Unofficial Apple Weblog”. The user interest was spectacular, but it put a lot of stress on his existing servers at ServerBeach. His open plea for more hardware was heard, and the Beach is now working with Charlie to get him some serious juice. Check out the Spanning Sync blog for more info.
