ServerBeach developer, Travis Thomsen spends life outside the Beach as an up and coming film director. San Antonio TX is holding it’s very 1st Annual 48 Hour Film Project. The 48 hour film project is an international event and it’s mission is:
To advance filmmaking and promote filmmakers. Through its festival/competition, the Project encourages filmmakers and would-be filmmakers to get out there and make movies. The tight deadline of 48 hours puts the focus squarely on the filmmakers—emphasizing creativity and teamwork skills.
Kick-off is this Friday, August 10th and this is when Travis will find out which genre he will be doing. He is crossing his fingers for dark comedy although is is open to anything. His weekend will be jam-packed with getting this film ready to turn in by Sunday evening, August 12th. Travis was also quoted in The San Antonio Current, a local underground paper. We wish you the best of luck, Travis!
